2018 Reserve Cabernet Franc-Library

This full-bodied, intense yet soft Cab Franc reminds us again of the elegance of this varietal. It's seriously one of the best recent vintages--resembles the insanely good 2016! Displays a rich burgundy hue and nose of tobacco and cassis, while delivering the fruit with plum, blackberry, a touch of tanned leather and a hint of coffee. Violets and roasted poblano pepper notes dance around the midpalate.  Lingering finish. Pairs beautifully with braised pork shanks over creamy polenta...with plenty of fresh herbs. Try it with a classic Eggplant Parmigiano-not much better than that. This is the OMG wine--wow your friends and family--sells out in a flash!
