2019 Highway 12 Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon-Library

The understated ripe black cherries and currant preserves are complemented by woody, spiced bark and mocha notes. A concentrated mid-palate dazzles then carries over to tingly tannins and a soft but lengthy finish. Weighty, rich and structured, this Cabernet will drink well now or cellar excellently for up to ten years. No need to wait for a special occasion though—this pairs so incredibly well with a seared New York steak finished with herbed compound butter and a side of Marsala mushrooms--or, or--hear us out--just night on the couch with an aged asiago or smoked gouda and a John Hughes 80's movie marathon!
