2019 Highway 12 Reserve Syrah-Library

This is one of those examples of a vineyard specific, small batch winemaking that we should shout about from the mountaintop, but that's just not our style. We will say, it's just an amazing, affordable Sonoma Valley Syrah that over-delivers to the max--especially for a Reserve at this price. The deep violet color and bright nose of boysenberry chutney lead you on a path of unfolding ripe blackfruit, allspice and toasty oak. Refined tannins give it that soft, yet tingly appeal and cellarability. Pair this with a Moroccan-spiced grilled leg of lamb or BBQ pork shoulder eggrolls with plum sauce. This Library wine drinks beautifully now or hold for another 5 years.
