2022 Highway 12 Cabernet Sauvignon

Blended with 90% Cabernet Sauvignon and about 10% Merlot, the wine was aged in French oak and showcases cedary overtones supported by the round mid-palate body and tingly tannins on the edge of the finish. Entry exhibits soft earthtones on the nose with hints of cherry, blueberry and a vanilla-oak softness. Medium to full-bodied the wine reveals wonderful fruit ripeness supported by richness and a slightly chewy core. Amazing wine that will continue to age well but is drinking beautifully now--pairs well with late summer evenings out back with friends and good conversation.
