2023 Highwayman Fume Blanc

This 2023 Fumé Blanc is one of our top vintages to date. Yes, we've only done a few but each one is better than the last!

From the nose--fresh citrus zest, bright melon and tropical notes present. Midpalate--a lush, round and vibrant mouthfeel, joined by slight touches of white peach, pastry cream and a hint of jasmine.  Light, friendly acidity balances this wine out wonderfully and drives it home with a satisfying, minerally, crisp finish. Pairs exceptionally well with dinner party show-stopper pan seared scallops with citrus beurre blanc and chive oil.

Quick-n-easy pairing idea: shrimp dumplings. Hint: the new ones from Costco are KILLER in a pinch. Drizzle with chili crisp and a swig of fumé--like take-out but better. Fake-out! Perfect for late summer movie night on the couch.
