2023 Highwayman Reserve Chardonnay

This 2023 Reserve Chardonnay is up there with the best. From the nose, bright citrus zest, juicy melon and tropical aromas.  The midpalate--a lush, round and satisfying mouth of angel food cake with seasonal stonefruit and vanilla. Then just kiss it with toasty oak. Light, friendly acidity balances this wine beautifully and finishes fresh, lingering and mineral-driven. Pair with poached halibut with a saffron fennel cream or peach glazed grilled pork chops with cilatro rice. Brunch? Orange french toast with honeycomb-flecked whipped cream.
